🎯 The Role: Firmware Engineering Manager – Wireless Systems
Drive the development of embedded software and protocols for Wi-R enabled wearables while building and leading a high-impact firmware team.

What You’ll Do

• Own and oversee the embedded firmware development process and deliverables for Wi-R based reference hardware.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting growth, career development, and technical excellence.

• Define and implement firmware development workflows and cross-functional execution processes.

• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and team performance.

• Guide the development of Wi-R protocol stack and participate in key technical trades, including hardware-software co-design and board bring-up.

• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams to ensure cohesive execution.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware design and 3+ years managing high-performance engineering teams.

• Proven leadership in wireless SoC firmware development.

• Strong understanding of embedded systems fundamentals: concurrency, real-time constraints, design flows.

• Experience working with wireless technologies like WiFi, Bluetooth, or similar.

• Knowledge of MAC/PHY layers, wireless signal processing, Tx/Rx metrics, and coexistence handling.

• Familiarity with low-level firmware: registers, interrupts, bare-metal development, and power/clock management.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and geographies.
