What You’ll Do

• Perform delicate micro soldering and SMT component rework (e.g., 0201)

• Troubleshoot and repair PCB-level hardware for custom wearable devices

• Operate microscopes and fine-tip soldering tools for high-precision tasks

• Validate repaired hardware through functional and continuity testing

• Maintain accurate logs of repair work and diagnostics

• Uphold quality and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced R&D lab

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven hands-on experience in micro soldering (especially 0201 components)

• Strong grasp of electronics and PCB architecture

• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and microscopes

• Excellent problem-solving and steady-hand dexterity

Preferred:

• Formal certification in electronics repair or soldering

• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and reflow techniques

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $20–$28/hour — equivalent to ≈ Bay‑Area purchasing power
• Equity: Role may be eligible for early-stage equity grants (based on full-time status)
